This story should send chills down the back of anyone that flies. A passenger on a seven hour flight ended up standing for the entire flight due to an obese passenger taking up more than one seat. The airlines response from their customer service department was to offer a $200 voucher, which was refused, and then a chiding of the customer that in the future, he could buy 2 seats to be guaranteed one to sit in.
I believe that the the obese passenger should have been made to purchase two tickets, not the displaced passenger. US Airways has some explaining to do.
